Molana's Mathnavi Translated into Chinese

TEHRAN - The Mathnavi Ma'navi of Molana Jalaladdin Rumi has been translated into Chinese.

According to the public relations office of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization, this new translation of the book, which is one of the masterpieces of Persian literature, is being published through the efforts of the cultural attache of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beijing and the cooperation of the Persian Language and Literature Masters Association in Beijing and the art and literature publishers of Henan province.

The poetry of Hafez in 2 volumes, the Shahnameh of Ferdowsi in 6 volumes, the Golestan in 1 volume and the Boustan in 1 volume have also been translated into Chinese and published.

The publication of 18 volumes of Persian literature masterpieces translated into Chinese shows the Chinese people's interest in Iranian art, literature, and culture.

There are plans to hold ceremonies in Tehran and Beijing to introduce the collection of literary works.
